Every payment requires your 4-digit PIN. Your PIN is hashed using bcrypt — even we cannot see it. After 3 incorrect attempts, your account is automatically locked for 24 hours.
All data transmitted between your WhatsApp or Telegram, our servers, and your bank is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3. Your data is unreadable in transit.
We connect to your Nigerian bank via Mono Open Banking. This gives us read-only access to your balance and transactions. We cannot move money without your explicit instruction and PIN.
Every Zeno user completes KYC verification via Stripe Identity. We verify your government-issued ID (NIN, passport or driving licence) and perform a liveness check to prevent fraud.
If your phone is lost or stolen, you can freeze your Zeno account instantly by messaging our support team. All payment activity stops immediately.
We monitor transactions in real time for unusual patterns. Suspicious activity triggers automatic alerts and may result in temporary holds for your protection.
You send a natural language message to Zeno, e.g. "Send ₦5,000 to Emeka".
We show you a summary of the transfer — recipient name, account number, bank, and amount — before anything happens.
You must enter your 4-digit PIN to authorise the payment. No PIN, no payment.
Only after PIN confirmation do we submit the payment via Flutterwave. You receive a confirmation with a transaction ID.
We send you a full transaction receipt including the new balance and a unique transaction reference.
Zeno staff will never ask for your PIN. Anyone asking for it is attempting fraud.
Enable fingerprint or face ID lock in your app settings for extra protection.
Always verify the recipient name and account number before confirming a payment.
