We take the security of your money and personal data seriously. Here's exactly how we protect you.
Every payment requires your 4-digit PIN. Your PIN is hashed using bcrypt — even we cannot see it. After 3 incorrect attempts, your account is automatically locked.
All data transmitted between your WhatsApp, our servers, and your bank is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3. Your data is unreadable in transit.
We connect to your bank via FCA-regulated Open Banking. This gives us read-only access to your balance and transactions. We cannot move money without your explicit instruction and PIN.
Every Zeno user completes KYC verification via Veriff. We verify your government-issued ID and perform a liveness check to prevent identity fraud.
If your phone is lost or stolen, you can freeze your Zeno account instantly by messaging us from any device. All payment activity stops immediately.
We monitor transactions in real time for unusual patterns. Suspicious activity triggers automatic alerts and may result in temporary holds for your protection.
You send a natural language message to Zeno, e.g. "Send £50 to John Smith".
We show you a summary of the transfer — recipient, amount, bank, and reference — before anything happens.
You must enter your 4-digit PIN to authorise the payment. No PIN, no payment.
Only after PIN confirmation do we submit the payment via Faster Payments. You receive a confirmation with a transaction ID.
We send you a full transaction receipt including the new balance and a unique transaction reference.
Zeno staff will never ask for your PIN. Anyone asking for it is attempting fraud.
Enable WhatsApp's built-in fingerprint or face ID lock in Settings → Privacy → Screen Lock.
Always verify the recipient name, sort code and account number before confirming a payment.
